IPS e.max® ZirCAD are zirconium oxide discs, recommended for situations where high mechanical strength, low wall thicknesses and very high esthetics are required. Suitable for the production of monolithic and veneered crowns and bridges for the anterior and posterior region. Due to a strength of 850MPa and high fracture toughness, the wall thicknesses of all-ceramic restorations can be reduced to a minimum. When strength is of paramount importance, IPS e.max ZirCAD LT (Low Translucency) is the solution. Ideal for long-span bridges, very minimal thicknesses, or clinical cases that exhibit signs of bruxism. These restorations can be milled full contour or designed for partial or full layering with IPS e.max Ceram. IPS e.max ZirCAD LT restorations can be stained and glazed using IPS Ivocolor or infiltrated with IPS e.max ZirCAD LT coloring liquids.
