It is conical (tapered .04/4%), has a rounded closed tip and 2 side flushing holes. Used for rinsing during root canal treatment without the risk of sharp perforation or tissue damage. The rounded tip prevents the risk of perforation and the spreading of the rinsing liquid through the 2 side rinsing holes creates an upward turbulent movement which ensures that the liquid circulates, but at the same time prevents the liquid from reaching out through the apex. It is 27mm long, is angled 60 degrees and has markings of 18mm/19mm/20mm and 22mm. Suitable for luer-lock syringes and each irrigation needle is individually packed (not sterile, but packed aseptically in a clean room).
