Dyract eXtra is a radiopaque, light-curing, caries preventive restorative compomer material for all cavity classes in anterior and posterior teeth, especially for patients prone to risk of caries (children, elderly). Material combines the continuous fluoride release of glass ionomer materials with the strength and esthetics of a light curing composite. Short curing time: 2mm layer for 10s (opaque shades 20s). The physical properties of a good composite: soft texture, ease of handling and polishability, improved wear resistance. To be used following application of a compatible methacrylate-based dentin/enamel adhesive such as Dentsply Sirona adhesives designed for use with light-cured composite restoratives. Xeno III and IV (self etching adhesives) and Prime&Bond NT (nano-technology, self-priming adhesive) are especially recommended. Store at 10-24°C.
