Icon Resin Infiltrant for Smooth Surfaces is a methacrylate-based resin infiltrant, micro-invasive treatment and esthetic improvement of non-cavitated dental lesions, particularly well-suited to remove white spots and treat incipient caries. Requires prior etching. Etching up to 3x for 2min per lesion is possible. If the white discoloration disappears within a few seconds when ethanol (Icon Dry) is applied, then it is successfully etched. Capillary action draws the resin infiltrant deep into the desiccated, porous enamel for 3min, and it is then light-cured 40s. Storage at 2-25°C.
