Wipak Steriking hot air foil 75 mm, Polyamide tube on roll, for dry sterilisation with heat up to 180 °C. Made of transparent, heat-resistant polyamide film. Can be sealed with tape or with an impulse heat sealer. Steriking Hot Air Rolls are intended for use as packaging material for reusable instruments, such as glass and metal, when sterilising with hot, dry air. When measuring the size, it is important to calculate extra space to seal the package. It is recommended that packs are filled no more than 3/4 of the length and that there should be at least 2cm of empty space around each packed item. Steriking hot air foil is not suitable for steam or gas sterilisation or for use at temperatures higher than 185°C due to reduction of mechanical and optical properties. All seals, including closure seals, must be smooth, i.e. without folds, bubbles or wrinkles. The sealing temperature should be in the range of 200-220°C (418-460°F) with impulse seals, depending on the impulse time. The products are for single use only.
