IPS Empress® CAD for PrograMill are leucite-reinforced glass-ceramic blocks for the CAD/CAM production of all-ceramic single tooth restorations (crowns, inlays, onlays, veneers). They have brilliant light-optical properties with chameleon effect and natural fluorescence, a flexural strength of 185MPa and a high degree of stability, and can be easily polished to a high gloss (e.g. by using OptraFine). IPS Empress CAD blocks are available in different translucency levels and as polychromatic Multi-blocks. In Multi-blocs there is true-to-nature transition of shade, translucency, and fluorescence. Multi-blocks are available in the 5 most popular A–D shades and Bleach-shades. Restorations can be stained and/or glazed using IPS Empress Universal Shade Stains/Glaze, or individually veneered using the IPS Empress Esthetic Veneer layering ceramic, or just polished.
